The Nether Update is finally here! After testing it for quite a while on snapshots and beta channel, it made it way through the final release.

Minecraft PE 1.16.40 for Android is the new build number for this update (same as Java Edition).

There are TONS of new feature and items added into the game, including the new mob that replaced Zombie Pigman.

Also new biomes inside Nether with each unique mob and items with special particle effect that looks really cool.

Whats new in Minecraft PE 1.16.201 Bedrock ?

  • New biomes: Crimson Forest, Warped Forest, Soulsand Valley, Basalt Deltas
  • New mobs: Piglins, Hoglings, and Strider.
  • New bricks, wood, and new vegetations
  • New music, ambient sound included.
  • New material: Netherite (stronger than Diamond)
  • More than 300 bug fixes since 1.15 update
  • and many more micro feature update!
